We are a competitive swim club, supporting children and young people to reach their person goals in competition. We do also believe in the life long commitment to swimming, and what to support young people to keep swimming as long as possible so they are safe in our waters. So swimmers join us for different reasons, some to improve their swimming skills, some join us to maintain their swimming fitness, and some join to get prepared for their next move into lifeguard or swim teacher. And of course to compete and win medals!

Payments
Swimming club members fee's are spread across the year in 12 monthly payments. The club has a closed period during the 6 week holidays, Christmas and New year period. With the occasional other closures due to Skegness Pool and Fitness Suite planned and unplanned closures.
These periods are still charged to help families spread the payments and reduce the monthly fee.
Swim England Membership
Every swimmer must pay an annual membership fee to Swim England if they swim with The Skegness Swim Team and go on to compete for the team. This is collected each January and cover the swimmer’s & volunteers’ insurances and club liability insurance. Swimmers joining the club throughout the year will have to pay the same. This fee is not prorated throughout the year and further information can be found at: www.swimming.org/members/clubmembership
If the Swim England Fee is not paid then the swimmer will not be allowed to swim. Once a swimmer or volunteer is registered with Swim England then they will receive a membership number. Keep this safe as you will need it when you enter any competitions.
There are 2 Levels:
Club Train
£30.93 per annum and for any swimmer that is aged 9 and below on the 31st December of the year of membership and or wishes to just train and NOT compete.
Club Compete
£58.43 per annum and for any swimmer that is over 9 on the 31st December of the year of membership and wishes to compete at Swim England licensed meets.
Fee Structure
Below is the fee structure to swim with us. We review the monthly membership yearly, and try to keep our fees as low as possible with our army of volunteers who all work with us for free.
